Sponsorship Terms and Conditions

By submitting a sponsorship application through the Mr Finance Sponsorship Page, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Eligibility
1.1 Applicants must be New Zealand residents or organisations operating in New Zealand.
1.2 Applicants must provide accurate and complete information in their application.
1.3 Mr Finance reserves the right to request additional information to verify eligibility.

2. Application Process
2.1 Submitting an application does not guarantee sponsorship.
2.2 All applications will be reviewed by the Mr Finance team, and decisions will be made at the sole discretion of Mr Finance.
2.3 Applicants will be notified of the outcome via the contact details provided.

3. Sponsorship Criteria
3.1 Sponsorship may be awarded based on (but not limited to) community impact, alignment with Mr Finance values, visibility opportunities, and available budget.
3.2 Preference may be given to local community initiatives, sporting groups, schools, or events that demonstrate positive social benefit.

4. Sponsorship Commitments
4.1 Successful applicants may be required to:
* Provide logos, photos, or information for promotional use.
* Allow Mr Finance to publicly acknowledge the sponsorship on digital platforms (website, social media, etc.).
* Deliver updates, content, or reports related to the sponsored activity if requested.
4.2 Sponsored individuals or groups must represent themselves and Mr Finance in a positive and professional manner.

5. Use of Branding & Promotion
5.1 Any use of the Mr Finance brand, logo, or promotional materials must be approved prior to publication.
5.2 Mr Finance reserves the right to share stories, images, or updates related to sponsored activities for marketing and promotional purposes.
5.3 As part of the sponsorship, Mr Finance requires a minimum of one social media post, along with a photo of the sponsored team or individual, for use in Mr Finance’s marketing channels.
5.4 Mr Finance and the applicant will agree on the promotional expectations and outputs, which may vary depending on the level of sponsorship provided.
6. Payment & Support
6.1 Sponsorship may be provided in the form of financial support, services, or product contributions, as outlined in the approval notice.
6.2 Payments or support will only be released once all required documentation is completed.

7. Changes, Withdrawal & Termination
7.1 Mr Finance reserves the right to withdraw or cancel sponsorship at any time if:
* The recipient provides misleading information
* The recipient engages in misconduct or behaviour that may damage the brand
* The sponsored project is significantly changed, cancelled, or no longer meets criteria
7.2 If sponsorship is withdrawn, any unused funding or resources may need to be returned.

8. Privacy & Data Use
8.1 Information submitted in the application will be used solely for the sponsorship review process.
8.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with New Zealand Privacy Act requirements.
8.3 Applicants agree that their name, group, or organisation may be publicly referenced if sponsorship is approved.

9. General
9.1 Mr Finance may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
9.2 By applying, you acknowledge that sponsorship is discretionary and subject to availability.
9.3 Any disputes will be handled at the sole discretion of Mr Finance.
